The Center is proud of its accreditation by the National Association for
the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). This designation assures parents
that the educational program exposes their child to the best practices
in early childhood development.
We encourage families to visit the NAEYC
website and get valuable
information and resources for families and children including
book lists, brochures and links to other interesting sites about young
children,
families
and parenting.
The Center maintains teacher to child ratios that are appropriate for
the age group of children served. Teachers with children under the age
of two are in a ratio of 1:4. Ratios are dependent on group size. Preschoolers
are typically within a group of one teacher for every eight children.
The Center follows the teacher to child ratios published
by NAEYC.
Please call the Center and inquire about the ratios in your child’s
age group.
